These are much softer than cotton. My wife and I love our sets. We have had them for a while and they are holding up under normal use. There are better ones out there but this is a good towel for the price.

The person above looks like one of those idiots who shops online but doesn't read descriptions of what they are buying. The first bullet point describing this product says 70% bamboo 30% cotton.

I made the mistake of buying these towels thinking they were 100% bamboo. I wanted a 100% bamboo towel in blue, but could not find an individual listing for such a towel. Since this particular item allowed you to pick from all of the colors and was the same price as the 100% bamboo set, I assumed these would be 100% bamboo as well. I was wrong. These are 70% bamboo, 30% cotton. If you are looking for a pure bamboo towel, do not purchase this item.
